A few of my favorite things

This May has been, quite possibly, one of the busiest months of my life to date. Maybe that's going to be a trend, since looking back on May of '08, I only posted four times, mostly about sick kids, and completely failed to post a happy birthday message to Ruth. {sigh} Here I am in '09, a week and a half past Ruth's birthday, swimming lessons all but finished and all sorts of activities worthy of a write up having occurred, but my blog is playing nothing but dead air. Don't get me wrong, this is not an apology. I'm busy and blogging is on the back burner as it should be. But I'm a little sad for Ruth that there's no timely documentation of her birthdays. My mom said someday Ruth would look back and figure out that she's still two years old because no birthdays ever took place. Only in the blogosphere, though. In real life, we partied it up, as you'll see in the photos below.
